Should I even bother to comment on how long it's been since my last journal?

At this exact moment, I'm in-between portfolio cupcakes. I have a list of flowers that I at least know the theory around creating with buttercream that I want to produce and photograph. Partially for portfolio pictures, partly to place in a kind of decorator's bible for my eventual bakery.

So far, I have lilacs (I need to do those again on a larger cake because there is a difference in technique when working on a bigger cake). I'm looking to do: orchids, poinsettia, lily of the valley, pansy, daisy, daffodil, and two-tone roses (because roses in general are pretty common).

Uploads will probably continue to be sporadic, but I hope that I might get some more traffic and comments coming though on some of these projects, especially the cakes.

I'm still debating, but I might make a "business" account and migrate all my cake deviations there, use dA as a virtual portfolio. I might be better off getting my own domain name for that, though. Hence, the debate.
